Winnie The Pooh (2016)

This Winnie the Pooh set design was an independent project for my University degree. This design was inspired by the author’s son’s real life struggle with Schizophrenia. With exaggerated objects representing the characters homes. The ‘Hunny’ Pot house is hollow with a window for actors to enter. The hanging teddy parts can be lit to show a whole teddy bear as shown in the photos. The pillows represent Christopher Robin’s room as a reading corner and the cyclorama is different colours to represent the mood of each scene. Overall this design looks like it is falling apart and abandoned and will feature puppet characters for Christopher Robin to control.
